Are government fees included?

No. Annual Membership Fees, federal filing and maintenance fees, county recording charges, and optional field services are separate.

Can I submit directly to BLM now?

Not through this website yet. Automatic document generation, official submission, and direct government payment are upcoming services.

Does registration give me ownership of a claim?

No. Account registration and map research do not establish a mining claim or ownership of land. Claim location and recording requirements still apply.
